Earthwork 3D: Higher resolution for PDFs. . .

The most recent version of Earthwork products (available here) includes increased PDF resolution. With increased resolution both linework and text are easier to read, allowing you to complete takeoffs in less time and with greater accuracy. This video demonstrates the increased resolution, as well as the other new features in Earthwork 3D.

 

Other EW3D enhancements . . .

The latest version of Earthwork 3D (available here) includes:

• Better CAD file processing - Large CAD files are now displayed faster, making panning and zooming smoother.
• Continually visible Trimesh - It is no longer necessary to turn the Tri-mesh on every time you pan or zoom in your file. The Tri-mesh will remain visible until it is turned off.
• Ability to copy Existing or Stripped surfaces for Over-Ex - When using the Over-Ex Guide, you now have the option to copy either Existing or Stripped surfaces into the Current surface.

Need AGTEK Training?

There are currently three options to receive training on AGTEK software:

• If you are looking for intensive hands on instruction, AGTEK is now taking sign ups for our live training classes. Students will receive hands on training in takeoffs and 3D modeling. We have one class remaining in March 2012 taught in our Livermore, CA office.
• You can sign up for training via the internet and complete your one-on-one training from the comfort of your own office. All that is required is the AGTEK software you wish to be trained on and a high-speed internet connection.
• Michael Cope is an authorized independent AGTEK trainer who offers regional seminar style classes across country.

How do I tell what version I have?

Open the program and Select Help>About Program Name from the menu.

How do I get the latest versions?

AGTEK Support subscribers can go to the Support - Downloads page and click on the desired program. Click the Download button to start the download and save the file to a known location. When the download is finished, double-click on it to start the installation program. Follow the installer directions to completion. A backup copy of the download can be saved on a thumb drive or CD for future use.
