Construction software company seeks energetic, experienced Project Management for complex Software Development Projects managing the creation of simple construction productivity tools, drone production tracking, 3D machine control modeling, and takeoff software to heavy construction contractors.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Project Management for complex Software Development Projects
Requirements:
Lead of complex software projects located across multiple development centers in the USA and Europe (Construction and Point cloud/Digital Twin based software products)
Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
Consults with interdepartmental teams to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency
Interface to other Development Organization within Hexagon
Coordination and communication with the development sites
Manage the requirement’s definition process
Leading Project planning process
Manage Scrum process and implementation of process improvement and refinement based on Hexagon’s innovation process (PMBOK fundamentals)
Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
Managing project progress and adapt work as required
Coordinate cross functional deliverables to enable successful product launches
Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
Managing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
Manages some non-software development related cross functional initiatives
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, required.
At least five years of related experience required.
Experienced with hands on project management of cross functional software development over multiple locations.
PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.
